UBE N₂ separator: operation and properties

Did you know that the air on Earth contains 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen? Thanks to UBE’s N2 separator membrane, we can obtain enriched nitrogen from the air around you with lower energy consumption, reduced maintenance costs, and easy operation.

The UBE N2 separator contains hollow fiber membranes. Understanding this concept, H2O, O2, CO2 permeate faster than N2, so these highly permeable molecules pass through the membrane more quickly, while the less permeable N2 remains on the product gas side. As a result, the product gas can be purified up to 99.9% nitrogen and very dried (low dew point).

In addition to its excellent performance, the UBE N2 separator also can be operated under a wide range of conditions, Inlet pressure is from 3barG to 14barG, a special grade can be up to 24barG, and inlet temperature is up to 60degC for all grades.
