Responsible Care is an active, global, voluntary initiative developed by the chemical industry.
Its objective is to ensure that companies affiliated to this program achieve continuous improvement in their production activity with regard to safety and protection of health and the environment, as well as other parameters of Corporate Social Responsibility, which are implemented and measured with improvement targets in line with the principles of Sustainable Development.
We have, since 2003 in Europe, been committed to the principles set out by the program, which comprehensively cover CSR aspects through its six codes of management practice and their respective performance indicators, including the updated “Responsible Company” code.
It is managed and coordinated in Spain by the Spanish Chemical Industry Federation (FEIQUE).
