UBE added a new production unit to its manufacturing site in Castellón (Spain), with the aim of expanding its portfolio of compound materials for various applications such as automotive, film for food preservation, new bottles and blow-molding packages.
The new Olive K plant allows the company to get even closer to customers in Europe and the Atlantic Area, offering premium-quality and supply safety.
The R&D center located next door provides a dedicated team of professionals for technical assistance and innovation services, contributing to develop new business opportunities in packaging systems, tailor made materials for thermal management in electrical vehicles, and tank type solutions for H2 and condensed-natural-gas propelled cars.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Mayoress of Castellon city and attended by local authorities, agents, suppliers and group employees.
