ETERNAJET® AQ is a series of aliphatic, water-based polycarbonate-based polyurethane dispersions designed for digital textile inks, coatings, and adhesives that require exceptional durability. Built on ETERNACOLL® polycarbonate diols, this product line stands out for providing superior chemical, thermal, and hydrolytic resistance compared to traditional polyester or polyether-based PUDs, ensuring optimal performance for a variety of industrial applications.
In textile ink applications, ETERNAJET® AQ binders show adequate glass transition temperature and high molecular weight distribution, as well as a uniform particle size distribution, which make them offer an excellent soft hand-feel, flexibility, and high color intensity on textiles. Formulating digital pigmented inks with our binders ensures the adhesion of the pigments to the fibers delivering outstanding fastness to rubbing and to washing.
For coatings and adhesives, AQ22NJ and AQ23NJ grades within the ETERNAJET® AQ series offer unique advantages, including flexibility, softness, and outstanding resistance to harsh conditions. In adhesives, these materials improve adhesion, peel, and shear resistance while maintaining strong performance over time. In coatings, they provide enhanced protection, including abrasion and scratch resistance, high gloss, and minimal yellowing, ensuring a durable finish on a range of substrates.
