The UBECycle® 2- series provides PEPA resins made from post-industrial mechanical recycling, available in both natural and colored forms. These resins are produced from industrial waste through processes of grinding, extrusion, and re-pelletizing, turning waste into valuable materials for various applications. The series offers a wide range of viscosities, from MFR <1.0 g/10min to >10.0 g/10min, allowing flexibility for different industrial needs.
This diversity of viscosities makes the UBECycle® resins highly versatile and suitable for a broad array of industrial processes in injection and extrusion processes. The mechanical properties of these resins, such as tensile strength, tensile modulus, and impact resistance, keep their high-performing requirements as requested per final application independently on the viscosity. For instance, the UBECycle® resins demonstrate tensile strength values ranging from 15-20 MPa, a tensile modulus of 350-450 MPa, and Charpy impact strength of approximately 80-100 kJ/m². These characteristics enable the recycled resins to perform comparably to virgin LDPE in terms of mechanical properties, ensuring they meet the requirements for demanding applications.
